Rome Poem
In my English class, we made a poem about Rome. We found the information about Rome's fall inside of the History book. Once we found the information, we could start writing. We had to make the poem eight to ten lines long. It also had to have at least one of the following elements; alliteration, rhyme, and refrain. For my poem, I used refrain. Refrain is a repeated sound, word, phrase, or line. I really enjoyed making the poem, although I'm not the best writer.
Shabanu
In English, we had to write a response to a book we were reading in class. The book is Shabanu. Shabanu is a book about an Indian girl and her family. The pisture I used is one of the responses I did on the book. I really enjoyed reading Shabanu. It really good.
Crispin
In English class, we read a book called Crispin. My English teacher made us write a response to the part we were reading. Crispin is about a boy who gets accused of something that he didn't do. The book takes place in the Middle Ages. He meets a man named Bear. Bear is a really big man who juggles, sings, and dances.
Board Game Project
In my English class, we are making board games based off of the topics we learned this year. The project is being done in groups of four. In my group, I am coloring. All of the people in my group are doing the rules. I hope our board game is good.
