Edible Cell
In science class, we had to make an edible cell. My group made an animal cell. We used nonperishable ingredients to make the the cell parts. The cell parts that we made of nonperishable ingredients are the cell membrane, nucleus, chromatin, nucleolus, ribosomes, endoplasmic reticulum (E.R.), mitochondria, lysosomes, vacuole, and cytoplasm. We used cake, a jaw breaker, twizzlers, a gum drop, nerds, gummy bears, m'n'ms, starburst, and frosting. We also needed labels and utensils. We divided these ingredients into four. We took twenty minutes to create the whole thing. After the cell was made, we had to answer a question about the cell parts. This project was for a grade. My group got full points on it. I was really happy when I saw my score.
Homework
This is the homework for this month. It is there so that if we forget what our homework is, we can check. This is for a whole month. I found it on her website. It is under the tab "Calender". I usually click the homework tab because I always forget to write in my planner.
Microscopic Mission Story
This quarter, my science teacher made us write a story about cells. We had to write story about the U.S. government giving you a job to get shrunk into microscopic size and exploring a cell. I wrote about going into an animal cell. Once you were inside the cell, you had to get the DNA. The DNA is located inside of the nucleus.

Animal Project
In my science class, we had to do an animal project. The presentation needed 22 slides; five slides on each topic, one slide for the title, and one slide for the bibliography. To pick our animal ,we had to pick an animal name out of a bowl. Which ever animal we pulled out, was the animal that we had to do the project on. We did the project in groups of four people. Because there were four people, there were four things we had to make slides about. The four topics on which we had to make slides were classification and general facts, adaptations, reproduction, and human interactions. I made the reproduction slides.
